Zip-Fly High Rise Pants 28''

I'm 5'2", 150lbs, waist 32", hips 39". Currently in between sizing (27/28, 4/6, or Small/Medium).

I ordered a medium and they were wayyyy too big. Lots of extra fabric in the crotch and upper buttocks. Definitely recommend sizing down if you're in between sizing. Stretchy, lightweight, and breathable. The mauve is more greyish mauve than pictured. Wish it had belt loops. I knew the inseam would be too long, but I probably could've made it work with some heels.

I was looking for trousers I could wear with some stretch that would allow easy mobility while I taught in a classroom, but were decent looking and not price breaking. While they do have little holes that you can see through when you put them up to the light I don't find them a problem. I actually appreciate the fact that they breathe since I'm pretty active all day and come straight from working out in the morning. Up against my skin you can't see through (I have attached photos with it sitting on my forearm and hand and my standing by my lighted window) although I typically wear dark colored underwear so I don't really care. I don't know how they would fare out in sunlight, but on casual Fridays inside a classroom with a collared school shirt they're perfect.
They definitely sit high and run a bit long (there is definitely a full break on at the bottom of my slacks) which is to be expected on my short 5' frame but I find myself reaching for them weekly because they're practical. My only complaint is that I wish they had a looser elastic at the waist but for most people it won't be a problem since I'm pretty bulky and don't have much of a waist compared to my hip circumference (just a body type thing). I wear a small and and am fit with 28" waist and 34" hips.

Great pants that you can dress up while maintaining a soft waist feel.
