First, I disagree with whoever said these felt just like their Lulus. Not if they’re real Lulu’s. BUT it’s ok, because these are still nice leggings. On the scale of soft material like jersey to more durable textiles like a windbreaker would feel...with that “does this breathe” quality...? I place Lulus further down the line toward jersey and these not as far. But they’re still pretty soft.
I would call them flattering. I’m 5’5 135 with a muscular build, broad shoulders, narrow waist—but also I’m 10lbs overweight right now. These go in the category of leggings that will work when I’ve gained weight, so...flattering. They have a high waist (see photo of the back) SO if you’re a little overweight like I am, it might create a little muffin top as in my pic because the waist is cut a bit narrow. I’m totally ok with this because when I lose the winter weight, they will be super flattering for my body type. But just know in my opinion these are cut for people with average to smaller hips. Not sure maybe they stretch beautifully for larger hips and waists.
The length seems average. They hit right above my ankle. They do have the center seam. With how tight the waist is, I’m not sure what the situation will be with that undesirable wardrobe malfunction named for a desert animal with a hump in women of different heights. Not bad in my case rn, but we’ll see once I get moving at the gym.
These are very comfortable, especially again during to the cut. While they give they also want to stay in their general shape. So if your body fits the cut of the leggings, it kinda feels like you’re scooped up and hugged in them while being able to move.
So I like them. Heading to the gym to see how well they breathe.
